Has anyone used ladybugs as organic pest control

Hello awesome people.

Thanks to some help iv identity some gnats and im wondering of anyone has ever used ladybugs in an indoor grow?

I have bought ladybugs before and they done amazing at eating aphids from my sunflowers outside so im hoping they may work inside

I have but wasn't successful. They're fussy thing and if your environment ain't to their taste, they move on elsewhere or fly up to the lights and fry if you are using sodium.

You may have better success than myself though.

Thanks for the tip. I will put them in a few minutes before my lights are due to go off and then assess the situation in the morning and hopefully not wake up to fried ladybugs when the lights turn back on

Sounds like you’ve got it under control! We had good luck using them. You’ll have to sweep them up eventually but it’s not to bad lol good luck!
