If you could pump extra oxygen in to the soil for the roots would that help them...?

Just an out there stoner question..................

ive seen a guy in youtube doing it , buryed airstones in the soil as he transplanted
We can get swept away by our thoughts,,or learn to step back and see them with clarity.
