Charts? farts!!!

dont bother looking at those charts, they are bollox, the manufacturers made up to sell more nutrients.

Every single one of them i have come across is recommending higher feeds by far than the plants require to grow properly to thier best outcome.
a sub - tropical sative strain will feed about 1/10th the amount of an afghan indica, so how can one chart fit all? answer = it cant
these charts are solely designed for those as a guide, learn to read your plants and your weed will be far superior,

put a bit of effort in and you will reap the rewards......

Yeah, thats what I'm trying to do with mine, fecked up a bit on this one but it's my first grow so I didn't expect to not make mistakes

dont worry about it, we have all been there. Its just part of the learning process...we all make mistakes, even now, i still make a heaps of fuckups (just have a look at my diary

When i started out i too, placed my trust in these charts of bollox, before i realised the feeds were way too strong.

im just trying to point you in the right direction.

A load of new growers seem to be under the impression thaat more feed = more buds, but its simply not the case...that's all.

i used to feed every watering too, theres nothing wrong with feeding every watering. its organic nutrient anyway, you are feeding the soil and the micro herd within it, which is taken up by the root system (thieres more to it than this, this is the simplified version). the grow part nutrient is basically refined sugars, and the bloom has added trace element and more P and K, to stimulate flower growth.

Another important thing to consider is to make sure you run a wet/dry routine with soil . i used to stick my finger down the side of the pot edge, to the knuckle. pull it out and if there is mud attached its still got plenty of nutrient in it.
if it comes out dry, its time to feed it.

good luck with it, heres one i did earlier....well half of it......just to prove im not talking bollox, well, not complete bollox.
this was an automatic cheese strain, not known for huge yeilds. in a 15 litre pot, of biobizz all mix, if i remember right.
#grown with grow, bloom and top max only......

ach, dont listen to him, hes always been trouble that one...... :ak:

if you want rid of the excess nitrogen it needs flushed. :oik!:

The proper reaction to high nutrient concentrations is flushing — used to keep roots and the plant safe from damage by excessive nutrient levels.

Because organic media particles are negatively charged, negatively charged nitrate nitrogen and phosphate ions are repelled from the particles and are the first nutrients to leave the root zone when a flush is applied. Without nitrogen in the root zone, the plant’s biological processes will be starved, and it will turn to scavenging and moving nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium (NPK) and magnesium from older tissue to the current growing points. but this wont effect you, because once you have flushed, you will be resuming feeding, just at a lower level. if the plants are over fed they store the excess nutrient in the root zone and in the buds.
you will be effectively flushing out the excess nutrients. Giving them plain water for a few feeds admittedly wil also flush them out, but it will just take longer, and autos dont have time to spare

But its up to you...
After watering this morning with the nutes i said before the plant looked as in the previous photos but after a few hours it looks way better apart from some tips. Should i flush it for good or is it enough of an improvement?

Hi guys, here at 35 days After a bit of defoliation. The problem seems gone and from the next watering i'll add 1 ml of Biogrow
(along with algamic and BioBloom) too add a little bit of nitrogen back.
