Hello all.
I've inherited an amazing thing - powdery mildew. A cutting I was given was apparently affected and now I've got in my flowering tent. All 6 plants are showing the start of the pandemic. So we are at week 1 after flip. I've just nuked the entire tent with neem oil.
Open to any advise and tricks to get rid of that nasty mildew. Help will be greatly appreciated :Stoned:
H2o2 250ml to 7.5 liters h2o.
1 part Skim milk 9 parts water.
A tiny amount of soap (no detergent, no degreaser) and a little oil are supposed to help either of those stick to the plant better. I've never used either but most recipes use both.
If you were on this side of the pond I'd recommend Lost Coast plant therapy, but they don't ship to UK.
Castile soap..dr. bronners
That's the best. But no added scent either :cheering:
If you reduce the amount of hash you consume in order to preserve your glass you've missed the whole point.

The hash is more important than the glass.

Shit Bulls Id be right pissed myself

As others have said, diluted milk can help prevent more spores from furthering infection, but it wont kill the patches already established.

I think it was Jack Greenstalk said something about using temperatures around 95F for a certain amount of time to kill off mildew.

If you have any foliar products with chitinase in them, that will help combat it.

Im afraid I havent tried to treat it on cannabis but I have personally used 10% milk in water, sulfur, and isopropyl swabs against mildew on a world of other plants

Thanks for the heads up everyone.
Unfortunately no photos. As I caught it at very early stage as I eas stripping lower growth.
What I've used last night was soap, neem oil and water.
Also heard about the baking soda and the milk and was going to try it as well.
I will keep you posted.

I'm sure @Horse Badorties had PM issues in his grow space, he got himself a handheld UV light and just gave the plants a once over every morning. Solved the issue.

Not heard from him for a while, but I hope he's cool!

Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate) -This is possibly the best known of the home-made, organic solutions for powdery mildew. Although studies indicate that baking soda alone is not all that effective, when combined with horticultural grade or dormant oil and liquid soap, efficacy is very good if applied in the early stages or before an outbreak occurs.

Ok I've done couple of sprays. Neem oil, and then Baking soda, both mixed with soap. I noticed that some of the mildew is gone. No signs of new ones. I think I will do another preventive spray before it's too late into flowering.

I think LAB'S or bacillus type bacteria stuff you make from milk can help from what I remember.

Hate neem oil, used it once and that was enough.
