testing the alkalinity of your water

If you're curious or maybe you've moved your groom and want to make sure your water is suitable for growing, here's a little video to walk you though how to test your alkalinity.

Test strips are available online for about £10, the hanna testers are way too expensive to even consider unless you got grows all over the place :) and analysis ranges from around £30-£80 depending on where you go. Most growshops worth their salt should be able to assist.

Also, what do you do if your water is too alkaline? There are a few things you can do but to keep it simple, filter the water or remove it with chemicals.
