Yes thats your responsibility. No one else's.
There have been a number of cases where a GP has informed the DVLA.

There's actually a bit of a loophole when you think of it (so negative 🙄🤣) These are all conditions that are all confidentially diagnosed. Of your condition is under control and you are deemed the same as everyone else, then why notify anyone?

Its a bit like discrimination against one person that has a condition, but has that condition under control.

The only way DVLA would be notified is if the Dr reported you. Anyone can do that anonymously anyway.

Not informed, reported. That could happen to anyone, by anyone.

Its only you that can tell the DVLA. Thats what I have seen and experienced at least.
No, GPs can do it, as well as the police.
Don't get caught then 🤣👍

This article is 4 years old. I doubt things have changed...

A couple of years ago I was reading a forum about autism, and one person on there was reported/informed to the DVLA. The DVLA withdrew his licence and took forever for him to get it back.

Yeah I've heard stories about that.

There was also stories about DVLA sending incorrect photos, or woth incorrect details. I heard one guy recieved a learners licence after having his for 20 years or something.

I can see your predicament. A family had the same thing with an illness and driving. DVLA have a few good stereotypes around don't they.

Has anyone applied for one of these or know anyone who has? I think I would if I wasn't growing at home, it's too much of a risk at the moment though I think.

i heard someone talking about this yesterday. apparently you can apply without a GP advising you, but one of the terms of acceptance is apparently a min of 2 different pharmaceuticals have to have been tried and failed prior to applications. so im assuming they do a medical background check

ive also heard the quality of product provided from these services to be sub par

its deffo working in the right direction tho

I do know from experience on getting a card which I should see if I still have one but I think it goes from year to year .... my GP wouldn't sign the papers so I believe I had to go to like a homeopath or something and then they sent me to the clinic and then they asked me a bunch of questions they did a urine test to make sure I'm not abusing other drugs and then they give you a limit the only thing that sucks is the place that they send you for marijuana is very expensive but at least you have the card and then you can go through the steps of growing
