Cannabis news from 2023 and what to expect in 2024

This is talking about what’s changed in 2023 and what to expect in 2024. With that said there is talk that they may reclassify cannabis from schedule 1 to schedule 3 which is a huge step for cannabis.

Thoughts and does anyone see 2024 being a good year for cannabis?

I look at any change as a step in the right direction. I would much rather see cannabis legalized rather than rescheduled. There are many issues that will remain that affect cannabis consumers. States that have legalized will still be in conflict with Federal regulations. In order for legal use under rescheduling cannabis would need to be approved by the FDA. They won't give blanket approval to a plant. As long as alcohol & tobacco aren't Schedule III why should cannabis?

Color me cautiously optimistic.

Such a move would indeed represent a significant step forward in the recognition of cannabis's potential medicinal benefits and reduced potential for abuse. Reclassification could open up new avenues for research, investment, and access to cannabis-related products.
