hi all firstly sorry for the lack of updates ,so much has happened and most of it not good.
as i said before we lost my beloved mutt after nearly 15 years and it hit me like a fucking bus i let the grow go bad sick as fuck plants that are a disgrace so much so i cannot bare to even take photos and this is after buying new nutrient, new ph meter i could barely afford and 3-4 sprays of 2 different mitecides they still look horrid but are sort of growing, the daughter is down for the week with the grandsons so drobe room is full of there stuff and cant do much so just open throw some nutes in and close the drobes, still not convinced the problem is just mites as the clones of them are showing no mites even with me glasses on but are still fragile and sickly stems snap far too easy and foliage ages very fast,if you not heard of this hlvd hop latent viroid disease just do a google search and read up and the problem is seious as nearly all commercial weed and seeds sold are infected with hlvd some 80% of the colorado dispensarys have tested positive and nothing yet to treat it,these sure look like the pics and images online,so a cull after harvest and germing tests on my oldest seeds which are not going to be infected. so pretty glum and down atm and my poor tina is still in masses of pain awaiting nhs treatment whenever and if ever they get around to her.
on the brighter side im lucky enough to still have a good few jars of weed not all of which has seeds in,not smoking much either now just odd spliff and me pipe, cheers all

Re: dukes drobes
hi herb im still alive and kicking!i got upset being censored and my stuff removed so have not posted here for a while then when i did try and log on it told me my password was wrong and when you try reset it did not work just gave error code but today same password works? very odd.
anyhow im still here and growing but mostly veg for tinas new polytunnel as drobes are perfect for germing and first few weeks it gives strong vegetables.
still having borg invasions and fed up having to spray or chop early so am shortly replacing the oldest and first drobe as i think it the hiding place of the borg mothership in behind the lining and mites start in there everytime for last 3 runs despite loads of bug spray and steam cleaning.
i need to do some kind of update later tonight if camera allows me,looks ver quiet in here now. cheers

Re: dukes drobes
Awesome. I'm sure he'll warm up to him in no time. We lost our Holly in may and the house just isn't the same. Kids keep asking for a puppy but I'm not sure I'm ready to commit to another dog. Have said for years that my next dog is going to be a eurpoean doberman. Fully papered up, champion bloodlines type. But for a dog like that I need to be able to commit to it like a full time job for the first few years and I just don't have the time for that right now. My daughters want a frenchie but they are ALL little bastards and I don't like the breeding practices involved. They're barely dogs, more of an accessory. The wife nearly talked me into a basset hound the other day though.duke wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2024 6:16 pmhi herb and all well today we have a new dog! he is a 9 month old american bull terrier sandy colour and patches of white but our miserable old git gizmo 14 yrs old will not stop barking at him but its early days and i hope once he realises hes staying he will calm down and be friends,we have 2 days to decide if he is suitable and if not they will take him back.

Re: dukes drobes
hi herb and all well it seems i have been stitched up like a kipper with this dog,the women who owned him agreed to us trying him out over a few days and see if gizmo (the old git 14.5yrs old well gizmo hates him hes just too playful and bouncy and im finding it too hard to handle both physically as my arthritis and carpel tunnel makes it hurt loads and the dog is just too strong for me.Herbalist wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2024 11:15 pmAwesome. so i called her to collect and she fecking refused saying her landlord has barred her from taking him back! now i am stuck he is a beautiful dog has been pretty good with my grandchildren who are here visiting and all he wants is to play and cuddle, he is only 9 months old and is very large and looks like a giant staffie but vet papers say bulldog cross, he is in tinas badbooks due to trashing her pond requiring it to be rebuilt which my great neighbours helped with. heres some pics of the beast!
as you can see hes not been neutered yet! i so want it too work and him to fit in but so far giz will have none of it and tinas getting pissed of with him and me!
