Re: dukes drobes
cheers jimmy im happy so far with the grow considering they was miles to big for the drobe by time i flowered them and had some extreme bending done!thanks
hi all well day 86 of 12-12 for these being barneys blue gelato41 and utopia haze the bg41 has developed some intense colours but buds are smallish but still pushing out pistils daily.
the utopia haze is an odd one with some buds looking finished whilst others are still pure white pistils with an odd mix of trich colours, tbh ive no idea how long it can carry on as its been on water only for 10 days bar the odd slip up when i forgot and fed it a little before slapping myself again!
pics taken today some a bit blurry as my shake is awful today due to overworking my bad hand
i am going to post only 10 pics per post or they keep buggering up!enjoy! :thx:

Re: dukes drobes
Nice job duke, am I right in thinking your harvesting all the bud then re vegging the plant for another run?
Been thinking about trying that, normally I just cut the stem at the base and hang it but itβs started to occur to me how wasteful Iβm being, all that time, nutrients and electric building a root system for me to go and kill it off and burn it at the end.
Less waste, less coco to deal with, and youβve already got a healthy root system, makes so much sense.
Once again duke you have inspired me, thank you my man

Re: dukes drobes
hi vador yes reveg is great method and 2nd time around plants are bigger and finish quicker, reveg of scrog is harder in some ways than a standard plant grow but once mastered is fairly easy but time consuming and ime of 5-6 reveg plants is not all respond as well, the last one pictured above is the best ever barneys vanilla kush indica phenotype and this time i had to reveg only 6 weeks for fully palmate leaves which is the best sign to look for as to when they fit to flower, they must be fully revegged else they end up in a sort of plant limbo doing neither properly,my first attempt is diaried over on tgc i think.Vador wrote: βWed Jun 01, 2022 3:38 pmNice job duke, am I right in thinking your harvesting all the bud then re vegging the plant for another run?

they yield better the 2nd time but ive not been patient enough yet to attempt a 3rd reveg!
i believe the american refer to it as monster cropping and theres vids on youtube i have seen.
like i say its not really much quicker as reveg takes time but shortens flowering by 10-14 days mostly. so if its a healthy root system at chop just leave a bunch of small stems and leaves and go back to veg hours for atleast 6 weeks or till all new growth is mature palmate foliage, stretch can increase markedly in reveg strains heavy in sativa genetics so i scrog those!
i been busy today i got a lump of the wetroom flooring left over from the bathroom refit and have made a mini wetroom in the veg cab so it will have proper easy rtw and have also got around to spreading some white paint in there and added some extra insulation,i hate painting see so becomes messy and a spreader needed to remove big runs!
pics later so do look in,peace :thx:

Re: dukes drobes
Thatβs handy to know, going to have to give this a try.
I quite like the idea of cycling through a couple of strains flowering and re vegging

Re: dukes drobes
hi vador if you do get a diary going and id follow along,
anyhow i been right busy and worn myself right out today but very pleased with the results of my work and i tested the new diy run off tray i made from leftover wetroom flooring some glue and sealer to fit the veg cab perfect and protect wood from damp decay and moulds several coats of intense white and a coat of clear laquer and a spiv up of the lighting new bulbs and shade reflector polished hoping to make a little better use of the smallish lumens and speed vegging a little.
i took a few pics before any plants go in also some of the bigger drobe barneys blue gelato41 and utopia haze, also some from smaller drobe of the barneys tangerine dream at about 14 days flower.
i shall now test out @Keeno fix of the pic upload system, get a cup of tea and a spliff put your feet up and enjoy a tune and some pics, cheers all
thanks for looking in,peace
