Hey @MafooFarms , your seedlings and young plants always seem to have really tight node spacing, do you run your cfl seedling room on 24/7 ?

Any advice in the lights you use would be appreciated, I've only just started a separate seedling area with a couple of sunblasters, but I'm loving your work with yours.

Oi tictok thanks for the shout. I use 100watt cfl bulbs of 2700K and 6000K hung inches from the plants and I also have a couple 42 watt warm T12 tubes about 6" or so off of them. If you get yourself a cheap lux meter I use a Dr meter brand and it says 8-10K lux from those fluorescent lights at that distance. If tight nodes is your goal this has been working well for that.

Sorry I missed that before. I run 24hr only until they shed the seed coat. Then I run 18/6. If you listen to the GR420 podcast episode about lighting there is a lot of interesting stuff that GMO and Keeno discuss. One of them being which fixtures are best for seedlings and the effects of light schedule on plant growth.
