Heat is the main reason.IMO wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 6:30 pmThanks for the info I’m just getting going with my first hydro grow, how come your usingg the CMH when you have the Led?Treetrunk wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 7:15 amIn veg I set the pump to come on 5 or 6 times and in flower 4 times.
First feed is an hour after lights on and last one an hour before lights off.
Each watering is 15 minute's.
In veg I'll change the tank after 10 days and in flower 6/7 days.
Once the ppm starts to creep up it's time to change the nutrients.
If you're using Salts you only need a couple of days flush at the end.
I'm thinking after last night's temperature I'll be firing up the CMH today. Whole new learning curve![]()
Unfortunately the LEDs just don't get hot enough in winter.
To be honest I even struggled with temperature during our so called summer.
I'll be back on LEDs next spring if its warm enough.
