Insulated grow tent
Why doesn't any company offer insulated grow tents?, it can’t be hard to do and with the progression to led lights I would have thought a company would be doing them by now?, any thoughts on the subject guys?

Re: Insulated grow tent
What do you suggest they are insulated with?
How many people do you think will want one for them to justify making them?
Don't forget the cost and extra weight may make them non-viable.
I use LEDs and have no issue with needing extra insulation.
Have you written to any of the tent makers and asked?

Re: Insulated grow tent
I think alot of people would want them, anyone in outhouses garages, lofts etc, don’t forget it keeps heat in, and can keep excess heat out also. I have sent sn email to green qube but they never bothered to respond. As far as material used I don’t know I’m not an insulation expert but there are lightweight options.

Re: Insulated grow tent
I've got 25mm thick 6'x3' sheets of eps in between the tent and outside walls of the garage. Does the job for me and helps keep temps down in the summer by stopping the brickwork radiating in to the tent.

Re: Insulated grow tent
I would have thought that any insulation would make it bulky. Also, I would have thought that anyone growing outside (eg. a shed) would insulate the building rather than the tent.IMO wrote: ↑Sat Dec 18, 2021 6:54 pmI think alot of people would want them, anyone in outhouses garages, lofts etc, don’t forget it keeps heat in, and can keep excess heat out also. I can't see many people wanting one for the companies to invest making them. I'm just a grower (LED) but the best people to ask are the makers. Try leaving a message in their section. More likely to reply to it as they know it's been seen by many.

Re: Insulated grow tent
Interesting thought tbf.. but I can see how the bulkiness could get in the way.
