Fem Seeds 12/12 from germ????

So standard procedure when you get yur prize pack you google what you got.

i landed myself so really nice sounding strains i'm not going to lie but one has thrown me a little.....

Best Mango

you can see what has confused me in green. These seeds are fems (no mention of auto) is this anything anyone has come across before? not heard of a photo going to 12/12 straight off the bat

I could be wrong here but did some research!!@these days most of the autoflower seeds are feminized rather than regular because although autoflower provides 100% flowering, it cannot be cloned. This means that that you have to buy new seeds every time for growing You've probably seen the term “feminized” used frequently as you browse the internet for all things cannabis seeds. Both autoflowering and photoperiod strains can be feminized. All it means is that a breeder modified a particular strain to produce only female plants.

Looking at the parents there is no Ruderalis in the genes so its a photoperiod not an auto flower strain.

i get that autoflowers are in flower from the start so to speak but they are run at 24/0, 20/4 or 18/16.

Weird. I know people do it for SOGs, but I wonder why it would be a blanket recommendation for a seed. I have heard Somango is really tough to grow, so maybe it’s best to just get it done as quickly as possible? That seems kind of nuts though. Ha. Why even keep breeding with it if that’s the case? I just went to this breeders site and looked at the strain description. On there they just say that this strain could be run 12/12 from the jump, not that it needs to be. Maybe Seedfinder messed up the translation or something.

Ok tbh I have never done autos but u think this link will help you out allot it explains than u can start it right away depending on the train cause of how bug it will get you can start it 12 by 12 right away ... I am more of a experiment grower so allot of this out and photo stuff gets my head all clustered fucked lol
