Solid (non-flexi) water tanks

Hello GR420, maybe you can help me. I need a 100L solid tank for nutrient solution with a fairly small footprint (50 cm or less) so I can go away for more than 3 days, ideally one that's easy to get my hands in and clean or position pumps/heaters, etc. I don't like or trust flexi-tanks so must be solid plastic. Square would be better than round due to the tight space it needs to fit in, but round would be fine if diameter is no bigger than 50cm. Was looking at cheap water butts from Wickes but they're a bit tall to reach into and have small bases with rounded corners, so might not be great for placing tank heaters. This one would be ideal if the lid was bigger or could lift it off: https://www.tanks-direct.co.uk/105-litr ... ower/p5993,but seems anything bigger than 50L with an open top needs side-support, like setting it into concrete or building a frame around it but haven't got space for that.

what about an autopot tank? they come in 50L though, not sure if theres a 100L one.

Fill your bath and run some hose could you not cut a bigger access flap in the top of the one you linked?

What about potable water tanks, they use bsp threads so can easily plumb in any size fitting

Thanks @Hmr81, I already have that and it's an excellent tank but I need something bigger. That will only last about 3 days, so 100L+ should be big enough for me to go away for a week. If I could get a 100L version of that it would be perfect, but I think anything more than 50L with that open top design will struggle to hold water without bulging out a lot - mine already bulges when full.

Could be good, I like that the lid is 8", better than 6" but yeah, maybe a little big. It's worth considering if I can't find a smaller one, thanks.

I had not considered the bath idea, good one, but the bath is needed for drainage - I use a puddle pump from my run-off tank to the bath.

Cutting a flap could be good. I didn't want to ruin the integrity of the tank but just a square cut out of the top leaving all corners in tact could work.
