Had leaves like this before, what is the deal?

Post by Tom1974 »

Good morning all, just fed my girls and noticed around 4 of my 8 girls have around 2-3 leaves looking like the below

Had it before and although I’m not alarmed it would be nice to learn from you all as to what it is or causing it.

I will also post a picture of what the majority of them look like

Cheers Tom

I think it's because your using tapatalk app, try using the phone browser & this link :
Growroom420 Photo Gallery
You can create separate albums & add your pics using the site gallery.

I don't see anything wrong in the picture, as she matures fingers will seperate and spred out but maybe the other pics will show the issue better. Cheers Tom

If you mean the serrated leaf edges curling upwards creating that canoe shape ?.... Most probably heat stress.
If you mean the leaf fingers kinda growing on top of each other ? I don't know exactly but Id argue genetics & in time the leaf fingers will grow out and look more natural.

Or maybe I've missed the issue completely lolz.

Not at all mate, it’s me and how I write lol apologies

I just mean I have a few of these leaves that look like this, kind of dull, weird glossy shine but dull if that’s possible lol

    Better pic below

Heat never gone over 25 degrees so far or dropped below 22 degrees mate

    Cheers Tom

    Hey mate,

Looks like heat stress to me also. There's different types of 'shiny' leaves and people seem to get them confused. There's those older leaves that look shiny but end up brittle and discoloured. Again, that can be environmental or too much food. And there's this type of shiny where the leaf is healthy and supple but looks shiny. This is high brix and just mean your plants are loving what you're doing.

Honestly I’m not seeing any major issues little heat stress. Colors look good. How’s your new growth?
