When do you PK....?

As a bit of a newbie to salts, do you people PK every other watering during flower, every time you feed or maybe just once or twice a week...?

Or would I be right in assuming that its just about reading the plants as you go....?

I wondered if there was a routine and/or rule of thumb that you coco growers use....?

Depends on the PK Rik imo. I tend to stick to set rules with PK and adjust base nutrients around it.

Day 1 - 4 flower 0.25ml Canna PK 13/14
day 5 - 8 flower 0.4ml per liter Canna PK 13/14
day 8 - 21 flower 0.5ml per liter Canna PK 13/14

Some people wont add PK till they see true flower, as you can see from above I hit mine from day 1 of flower with some. In my head the plants will have some extra PK as they start to need to, not when i see true flower. The plants go through a huge change in early flower, by the time we see it they already well into it.

The above ratios seem to kick start flower a little quicker for me. To much PK can have adverse efects though so i like to change to something thats a lower ratio, and that has some extra goodies in it after day 21.

Something like Vitalink Buddy or Rock Resinator:

0.5ml per liter days 22 - 35 (mid flower flush).
1ml - 2ml per liter days 36 to flush.

If the plants need more or less food I adjust the base nutrients around the above ratios.

So to answer the original question I feed PK daily throughout the flowering cycle. None in veg but I do believe Kbag has been playing with adding some PK in veg as a experiment.

As Keeno said above, I used to follow the same method over the years. Over the last 2 grows, I've done something different.
After I flipped I kept using only Canna A&B only for the first 7 days. Then I've added 1 ml per L from Green Planet Massive for another week, along with the Canna A&B. From Week 2 I've started using the recommended dose of 2 ml per of Green Planet Massive and 1 ml per L of Sugar Rush.
I'd say my plants look incredible well and have tasty delicous smoke. I've kept it simple as that and it works.

I've been hitting far too much PK.

I am going to back off now at week 4, so just A+B for a bit and maybe the slightest touch of PK here and there until flush.

In mud I use Plagron green sensation from lights flip. 0.5ml/L every watering upping that to 1ml/L around week 4.

Coco I use Buddy from flip 0.5ml upping it to 1ml in week 3 every watering, then week 5/6 dropping it and using PK 13/14 as directed by the instructions on the bottle for a week, every watering.

I use 1/2 to 1ml per litre myself for 3 weeks mid to late grow before putting plants on a water only diet for 2 weeks then chop. It`s a flower booster and not a plant booster not to be used in veg just in case anyone thinks any different.

Ive been using buddy for the first month of flower and then pk around about week 5 for a week then back onto buddy.
Never tried using it all the way through flower but I see people are getting great results like that
