My CFL is a 450w duel spectrum. I was looking at the Mars as its ment to be the equivalent as a 250w hps but 25% less electric so they say.
What area do you need to light? With Led you need 30/35w per square foot.

I run about 270/300w in flower running 2 X 80cm tents.
https://invisiblesunled.co.uk/products/ish150-e-line a couple of these would blow Mars hydro away :ak:
When's chop happening? :barmy:

I've just had a look at that LED cheers. I would be looking at just 1 for now due to funds but will get more when I can and the chop is gonna happen in a few days i think.
But will have to be topped due to the bottom not being done yet.

Update
So she's been cut down and is now in a jar cureing, I got around 22g but I've tried some so there's about 20g now haha, I'm sure if I had a better setup and bigger plant pot she would of yielded more easy, I do have 10L fabric pots to try next and have more seeds, I'm just waiting for my Sweet Cheese to finish and that's going to be a few weeks yet.

It's nice to be able to enjoy your own 💚.

When you topped above, did you harvest the top growth?

Yes I've got a jewellers loupe and I'm the same I like to see a few amber trics.
Yes they say 7 weeks from germination and it most probably would of been done by then if I had a better light but I'm not sure. I've only ever grown with a CFL but have been looking at the Mars hydro TS1000.
I would think or say a mars ts1000 will trounce your 450cfl bulb x10 over, your better looking at the ts2000 cus you can turn it down to same power as the ts1000 so it would have a much longer lifespan running at lesser power than if on full pelt all time, but best of all you can crank it right up and get yourself some mahoosive buds stinking to high heaven that will mash up your blood-clot.

Tis very much so old school running a cfl to grow and flower plants with, out of interest are you from that old school 1970/80`s era type of grower by any chance ? :nice:
