Invisible Sun question

Post by IMO »

I’m looking into buying an invisible sun light unit, however I’m wondering what is the difference growing wise between the R strip light like the ISH 4R and the ISH265v2 both say they replace a 500watt of HID lighting, my current tent is going to be 1.2x1.2x2m comments appreciated 👍

Ok so for a 1.2x1.2 youll need 480w of light, t=so that is either 2 x ISH4R system or 2 x ISH265 or 1 x ISH530, they all use the same leds and chip sets but we have different options regarding ratios of colours. Any of the above options will work well in a 1.2 space the ISH4R will give the very best coverage and there for be the most efficient. If you are filling out every inch of the grow space with plants that would be the wat to go.

We ran 2 4rXL's in a 1.2x1.2 and got about 26 zips.
point 5 and hmr ran 1 4r iirc and also did very well. I like them as theres space for air to circulate. Rich will answer better tho im sure.

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Thanks bud the 4R definitely caught my eye I just wondered was there an advantage over that one over the other more compact looking lights

Is the advantage you get a wider coverage with the 4R? Sorry if these are thick newbie questions

I think the 4r is perfect for 80*80, we certainly think so anyway. Point5 pulled over 9oz single plant with it so no complaints. Great build quality and they way it's laid out means you get good air circulation through it too. I'm saving up for one for my tent if I'm honest
Thanks I think my mind is made up, I’m not planning on having my 1.2x1.2 rammed with plants as I have a 4 pot Wilma abs just planning to have some tomatoes and other veggies around the edges so I’m prity much thinking the 4R would do nicely, will try not to over think it, the paradox of choice is a bitch :bang head:

Go talk to the boys either through email or DM on Instagram. They helped me loads. This will be 1st flower with my retro fit R strip 4 the 4 panel DIY kits and I can't wait. The money on electric you save you can buy more if you can afford it. Thank you. TkEZ
