Are CBD flowers still illegal in the UK?
Hello everyone. Me and a mate are arguing about the legal side of the CBD flowers in the UK. We were walking through the high street the other day and there was a shop selling CBD flowers. I thought it was still illegal in uk to sell it? But my mate is saying that if you have a license which costs 4700£ to cultivate low THC high CBD flower you're allowed to? I couldn't find anything on the net or government website about that. Does any of you know anything more?

Umm...not really Aspie, no. It's very confusing to me. So are you allowed or you're not allowed? :D
I'd believe it's the same brand Marcus. It's in Gloucester right at the end of the high street walking towards the docks. I haven't tried it yet but will tonight.

As far as I know you need and industrial hemp licence to grow any cbd flowers which can be expensive and difficult to acquire. Once you have one you are only allowed to grow hemp from seeds that are on a list of approved strains and sellers. It gets even more confusing as hemp flowers are technically illegal as they have not got through processing. Curing and grinding can sometimes count as processing (that's the loophole). Often cbd flowers are sold as leaf tea to further demonstrate processing. In a nutshell lots of people are selling cbd flowers and getting away with it however a large potion of those people are having their stock seized and tested. Loosing all your stock for 5 weeks while it gets tested can easily force companies to fold.. There are a few online store which sells pre packaged cbd flowers however it seems like most of the loose buds have dissapearded..

Very disappointed with the CBD. Felt absolutely nothing, did not sleep any better, and my muscles are still aching. Also it tasted of chemicals. Blah!

There was/maybe still is a CBD coffee shop in Portsmouth. I believe they have popular strains but in CBD varieties.
