Ooh they look lovely - No guesses what your eating later. Is this the 1st time you've grown tatties or just the 1st this year. Nothing better. 👍

Yes the first this yr I couldn resist a look lol , I grow them every year I try to stagger them out so I can pick a couple of times

Evening gardeners dug another pot of potatoes yesterday

Took some major wind damage to the runner beans on the weekend so many flowers off and snapped branches

So annoying with the beans. 😩 Hopefully some are still okay. 🙏 We've done the dwarf ones this year as lost quite a lot over the last few years due to high winds. Took whole plants down before & lost the lot. 🙄

Morning hun , yea wasn’t happy popped away , came home swear a tornado had gone through , plants over , lots wrecked , gazebo upside down swear it was winter lol not July

Good morning gardeners ok so I noticed the bottoms turned black on 3 toms , so I snipped them off , not being much of a Tom grower any offers ?

Hi there... Looks like blossom and rot for those 3. Various reasons for this, cal deficiency, heat, in consistent watering. Have a Google 😘

Polly's Veg and Flower Garden

Evening gardeners, been away for a couple of days and left the garden in the not so green hands of son greenhouse was a bit crispy and about 500 degrees but I think most survived lol

Dug out a bucket of potatoes, not sure why there wasn’t many in there they look nice though

Runner beans meh we shall see
Corn on cob meh no going anywhere I think caught the dog peeing on them lol
Now waiting on peppers see if they grow 🫑
