So on your ec meter 0.2 is 0200?
Yes thats right. 1200 = 1.2 ec , 1000= 1.0ec 0800=0.8ec etc etc same shit different way of doing it. One i have reads same and does ppm and ec with water temps in C or F. 8-)
Nice one thanks I know where I am with it now, as a few have said I don’t expect to use it much it’s an inkbird one for £20, it could come in handy if I need to try and diagnose something 🤔.
Basically the tool your using is in us/cm (1400) and the ones lets say that we are used too measure in ms/cm (1.4ec) both are EC, same but different really. That's what i get from reading about and chart below anyhow.

Well i would think it will be same for both when they get to 9.9 or 9000 but that's not gonna effect growers mukka

One more question re EC, do you subtract your background ec of the water from the target EC, ie if background ec is 0.2, and you want 0.8, do you shoot for 1.0 total?

Yes shoot for 1.0ec in total that's right tis what i do nowadays anyhow . Tis summink to with calcium carbonate in your background tap water EC being useless and unusable by roots. @duke knows more on this he put me right with it all time back now.
