Any ideas?

Post by Pork Chop Express »

Hi guys. They were fine yesterday, but when I woke up this morning these guys were looking limp and droopy. The tent humidity had risen very high (84%) during the night so I opened it all up, aired it out. Got the humidity down to 61% and throughout today they haven't gotten worse but they're not looking much better... This is just now.

Have I killed them or will they come back do you think? Is there anything I can do to cheer them up? More light? Less light? They don't need watering as the soil is still wet I'm out of ideas but I've clearly done something wrong.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks all.Image

She'll be just fine 👍 the drooping leaves are just a reaction to the high humidity. You should see a full recovery by tomorrow. If not, then double check all your parameters. What temp at lights on and off? What is your ppfd reading at the top of the plant? Those are huge players in the grow as well.👊

IMHO, probably a combination of over watered and high humidity. When the humidity is that high the plant can't release moisture (transpire) into the air. I'd say, don't water, lower humidity and wait. I bet they will be fine.

Thankyou! I fed them on Saturday but then on Monday my tube heater arrived so while I had the tent opened up I rewatered them... That's my silly fault then.

Hopefully they pull through... Pretty annoyed at myself now. I'll leave afew vents open tonight to get the humidity right down

I’m no expert but I’d go with over watering as well let her dry out before watering again and should be reet. When they are small they are sensitive to overwatering.

No extract running as of yet. I've waited to get that until the end of this month as smell wouldn't be an issue yet. I'll be getting one in a couple of weeks though.

My exhaust fan is primary for my tent environment and secondary for odor control. :puff puff:

I didn't know that. I thought it was just for the smell... Thank you for that, good to know! I'll just have to go with the vents open and the door cracked for a few weeks until I get one then.

Makes sense now that I'm aware humidity is a problem lol

I don't worry to much about extraction when plants are small but I will have a clip fan or something to keep the air moving. Sometimes just opening a passive vent is enough to keep the humidity down
