Maybe you might find this useful or interesting, late last year I wasn’t in my house for about 4 months, I claimed back my credit from my supplier and cancelled my account saying I was moving. Someone was using electric in my house while I was gone 🤷🏻, they had been sending letters to new occupier while I was gone saying they were the supplier and for them to get in touch, when I come back 😊 I contacted them with meter readings and reopened my account, there have since been letters coming not addressed to me but to ‘the legal owner’ I’m currently paying my bill since I came back I’m not sure who the other person was 🤷🏻. They were are very polite letters not threatening!

An energy saving thread with a sticky post with recommendations would be an awesome thing to have here. Would help a lot of people out I would say.

We don't pay council tax, so no rebate for us.

So it seems its gonna be £1200+ total handout is for most vulnerable households to help with cost of living basically for peeps on benefits and £400 for every household no matter what, basically peeps on benefits me thinks and nowt needs paying back either. I`m thinking a trip to Benidorm sounds good in Autumn :rolf: Seriously though here`s the read on it all just announced.

Well the way I see it is I'll possibly just scale things back a tad, instead of running 800 watts I'll go 275 watts for flowering and 75 watts for veg yield will be less but I still get enough for smoke, another thing I can see happening is the St dope prices will rise God help them that buy dope. Go steady

great googly moogly!
I thought the street weed prices will rocket ……BUT the big grow scummers steel the leccy anyways so price they pay for it does t increase lol

Stardawg and Amnesia here. This is what I was saying about being worried about the hobbyist side of growing. It was an easy decision to grow when prices were mad high. I can see a lot fewer getting involved now it costs a fortune to run a setup and you got to pay a fortune for kit to run as efficiently as possible.

Of course, there are loads of reasons that we know of which far outweigh buying street weed. But someone who has never grown, never spoke to anyone who has, they look at the kit needed, running cost, then look at street weeds price, look at the legal medical options... perfect storm to cull the hobbyist side of growing.

I know a few growers round here and all have being fighting off the led revolution, but they are slowly waking upto the fact paying a bigger cost upfront for a lot better efficient light and less heat problems lol only taken em 10 years
