been 3 yrs in my garage, ive got about 3-4m3 of oak like that in slabs

I came to this thread to be a dick with a typical redneck response and clicked the last page and immediately saw this. I was gonna say i cut down 5 damned trees in last few days that been pushing my fence! Ahaha in all seriousness ive planted thousands of pine trees over the years working and I appreciate and understand the importance of trees. Beautiful piece of wood you have cut there pal.

Alas, these 2 had to come down yesterday, in the hope it will try and save a 50 year old plum tree they're smothering. I gave them a good hug and said my goodbyes to them.

They'd have looked daft if i'd have topped them, so they came out. She's got better trees in her garden than them 2 I killed, so I'll enjoy hers while I wait for my new trees I plant to grow up.

I had a little business felling for ppl and selling slabs, too much of a niche market though to make a full time living out of, i did get a router and made a sled last year, ive done a couple of nice resin serving platter thiings, ill get some pics!
