I wouldn`t worry too much about dates with salt base ferts too much, its more so the organic stuff that has a lifespan. I've used ferts that i found down back in shed covered in cobwebs, they were a few years or so out of date and they worked just fine, so long as it looks ok, nice and clean when mixed your good to go imho. 8-)
