Invisible Sun LED - The Clone Wars Competition

To celebrate the launch of our new Clone & Rooting Bars, we are holding a competition for growroom420 members .

We will be giving away a bunch of double packs of our Clone & Rooting Bars to the best entries.

To enter you need to post a step by step guide to how you root clones, this is your personal guide so make it individual to yourself.

Included in this guide you must include
  • Each step you take from cutting the clones off your mothers through to rooting and then propagation.
  • We require you to list the equipment you use, from rooting agents to medium to lights and propagators or bubblers.
  • We require a you to list what techniques work for you, any tricks of the trade that give you good results or speed up the process
  • Minimum of 3 photos should be included but feel free to include more, you must include a photo of your full cloning set up

We will pick the best guides at the end of January and reward the winners with a double pack of 2 x 10w (40cm) Clone Bar's worth £84.95
We will be rewarding 2 winners for every 10 entries, so if 10 people enter there will be 2 winners, if 100 people enter there will be 20 winners.

This competition is held by Invisible Sun LED and not the forum, so this means the competition is open to all members of the forum, including admin and mods.

No post count required to enter.

Equipment used:
Rockwool cubes
Athena Pro
Athena Cleanse
Clonex (soon be Cutz)
T5
Humidifier
Smart temp/humidity controller
Smart plug
Heated propagator

Step 1

Clean scissors with flash bleach then dipped in Athena cleanse solution and then wiped with 70% alcohol left to dry

Step 2

Mix up 3ml/L core and 4.9ml bloom to = 2.1Ec aswell

Step 3
Once scissors are dry go to the mother plant and take off cutting that have at least 2 nodes and drip thrm in the cleanse solution to clean them.

Step 4

Take the Rockwool cubes and place them into the 2.1Ec mix

Step 5

Take a cutting and chop at 45 degree then slice a layer off to expose more surface area then place into a shot glass with clonex or Athena cutz for 30secs or more, then take the cube and shake it like your having a slow wank but DO NOT Squeeze then place cuttings into it

Step 6

Place cube in propagator and pour in a little of the mix and splash the dome

Leave in propagator for 2-3days before checking on them the feed 2.1Ec mix again on day 4 then day 8-9 then every 2 days of as required

Between day 4 - 14 have the domes off to get used to what the veg side will be like for rh. Vpd aim 0.6-0.9

The humidity is controlled my the smart plug and also use a small usb fan to blow over while to dome is off

Step 7
Once’s rooted change feed to 3ec if running them or just stick to 2.1 if mothers

Please be swear The humidifier and controller been move to the next stage tent as about to move them all if need any other pics let me know
