New packaging poll

Post by GHO »

Hey all,

I'm currently debating switching from conpostable paper packaging to high quality mylar lined packaging. The reason I'm looking at switching is due to concerns over how the compostable packaging will perform if left in damp environments for any length of time. Sheds and the like.

So I'm opening a poll and your preference and opinions would be very useful. Please feel free to comment and let me know what you think...

You know I'd be coming for this one right?

@Mr Nice yes you're right I reckon. Keep it green
I also think the mylar would put a lot of organic save the world types off (not that I am pro for or not). I pack allmine to be fair, in bags or buckets from packaging I have saved from the bin, or both, to keep it fresh and keep wet/vermin or anything away that could contaminate it.

Keep with it, I was looking forward to composting your packages

I'd prefer bio but how does that sit with something you'll likely be using for a few months in some cases? I'm finding the paper feels like it is absorbing moisture. With the solubles, that's a big worry. Potentially they could suffer moisture damage over time. What about offering a paper option?

Green all the way for me, if people have issues they can store them in a dry place or in plastic bags can’t seem how it’s much of an issue really

Stay Green, i'm sure your customers will appreciate you helluva lot more thanks to that.
And as others have said already, if they wanna store your products in a moist environment they can put the products in a better container.

I recently got Brandmydispo mylar bags with my logo on em for my seeds. My wife and I really like the look of the mylars, thinking about switching to the jars though
