I'm not gonna lie I have been thinking about it seen a few on Instagram also, buy a nice pot, and a rock for the roots to climb over its all coming together In my head ,
Just waiting on the official word from the boss for Bonsai grow off

Does the bonsai plant have to be grown on the rock the whole time?

I've been watching it done and most will just aero prop a clone to substantially roots, drape over a rock then cover with plastic for a month to acclimatise

From what I've seen the rock or marble or whatever you want to use is put into the medium and seed on top then the roots should wrap around naturally, and bit by bit you can uncover the roots and rocks looks cool not sure how hard it'll be tagged you in a photo on insta

Yeah that's not grown there bud. It's incredible grow none the less but its grown in soil less media and then moved and wrapped and the sprayed directly alot

Its doable obviously but I'm not sure it's possible to do as a grow out tbh. Not many will have the time or technique possible imho
