Nice experiment there mate ... the thing like you mentioned that the CV was a bit different from smell could almost be the seal of the vault I have a large one and noticed there is not actually a seal on it so maybe that why ur not getting the smell as much

Very cool and informative experiment FX. I've been drying, curing and even growing the last couple of weeks at lower temps. There's defo something to cold preserving some of the more volatile terps.

Thanks for sharing this.

Okay, started on the CVault today, it still looked and smelt the same but when I broke some up to grind it, there was plenty of fragrance and it seems stickier than the purple glass one:

Plenty of flavour in the vape, similar to the rest of the harvest and it's a potent strain for sure, I also like how easy it is to cure in the vault, chuck it in and forget about it lol, I did burp but none of the videos about them I watched seem to mention this.
Here it is ground up:

I have to say the CVault one was better than the purple glass, excited to see what the fridge one is like next....

Come on  I'm relying on that fridge one lol.

I find you have to let the bud come up to room temperature 1st inside a small container, otherwise you can't smell the terps properly.

Good experiment.

Maybe we could try vacuum packed cure too?

Vacuum packing is certainly an option, I don't have a pump/sealer thingy though lol, I bought the CVault for this experiment, couldn't afford the vacuum packer as well....

Okay, the cold cure... I opened up the one from the fridge and it still smells the best! It is also the most sticky of the 3 when broken up for the grinder.

Lots of flavour in the vape, fruity and somehow fuller than the others, definitely something to this fridge curing..... Here's the ground up bud:
