Chocolate M.I.L.K - Condensed Version

Hello again and welcome to my second attempt at finding a Mum I'd Like to Keep -M.I.L.K

This time I'll be firing the flavours off into coco coir for quick turn around (cocoa )

Flavours to start with;

Dankalato
Dinafem blue cheese
And
Dinafem critical +

Dank and BC got wet and are in towels atm but have already cracked, crit + is in a glass of water now for 24hrs

Coco coir is from wilko, 4 quid for 40l, I'll take that all day cheers

Nutes will be poundland Hydrococo range for the first 7-15 days as I'm awaiting in some A+B

Will be starting under marshydro 300, other lighting to be decided




Kit list

Storage tubs x 3 =£10



Cooling racks × 3 = £1 each



Assembly using some scrap wood



Wilko mixing bowls x 3 = 50p each



Slight change of plan.

Gonna do start to finish quantum board grow.

Currently dimmed but will find out how much in a week when the monitor gets here

We have our first signs of life



I gave the dank's kabuto a lil squeeze and I think it was too soon. Will report back if anything happens

Light at 28 inches and dimmed to about 40%

We aren't quite as far along as I was hoping tbh

Lights now at 30 inches and on full wack

But they are all alive



Dinafem BC is the strongest perform off the bat



I probably rushed the dank's husk off tbh. Getting there now tho



Crit + has made up the 24hrs difference in germ time already

As they a lil slower than I'd hoped, I'll count day 1 from tomorrow. I'm looking for a 14 day true veg before flip so around 21-28 days from now but will see how we get on

So they all had 6l soak through to get em started (run off was a nasty colour)

We are about 5 days in now

Had a full drench today with biosys and PH of 6.2



The dinafem are running well and look like they want a start on real food. Dank, I bent over during watering and she hasn't really recovered

Not much exciting atm

Today they have had their first real feed. Just 0.2 ec above base and ec of 5.9

Dinafem are still coming on strong



But the dank is dead



Onwards and upwards tho

I don't think the lemon juice is remaining stable enough, hence the leaf twist/curling. I've caved in and started using ph down

Still feeding every 12 hours at 1ml each per litre

Will up her feed slightly aswell soon

I think we are now about 2 weeks into life above surface

Still feeding twice a day 1ml each (a+b) ph 5.6




I will up it to 2ml tomorrow and see how it looks

She has roots reaching out already tho

A little shy of 4 weeks old now



She is pretty much due flip but I'm gonna keep her going a couple extra weeks

Oh and I snap the stem at the top but I've wired it up and covered with aloe vera

So I put my diy panel in but in the process dropped the panel on the plant

We are at around 5 weeks from seed now



She is currently 15-16 inches tall from the top of the medium

As I've be warned countless times by Black Grouse that she will stretch to triple her size, I've decided it's time to flip

In an attempt to slow her down a little, I've defol a bit and done a little stem pinching to try keep the canopy even

So I gave her 24hrs dark while I sorted a timer out

And she is really really keen to flower



No slowing down

And so ya can see just how hungry her first sleep made her, here is a natural light pic

Evening. Still stretching 2 inches a day it seems. She is 23 inches today

Today I gave her a good drench with biosys tea (finally )

In all honesty this plant makes me chuckle every time I feed her

She basically fill a bath tub by herself



Definitely filled her home out
