Received Amino N+ from Bokashiearthworks. This is also a cut of Grease Monkey transplanted in some extra soil I made up. Gonna give it an Amino N+ blast in soil and foliar. We'll check back in a week or so to see how she looks.

Thanks for the update :-)

I usually try and do things in smaller batches now and mixing evenly is a little difficult. I thought a new concrete mixer but too expensive

It's nice to see how others are doing here with soil mixes. Keep it going @anova.330

I usually use a tarp, mixing on the ground, but my garage is so packed with junk I can’t move enough out of the way to make space. Using the wheelbarrow was helpful, knowing how much came out (recycled) vs ingredients in (new soil). All that and I still didn’t make enough.

The soil is interesting as I am vegging three Blueberry TrainMAC seed starts. I’ve only sprayed water in daily, a very small amount; but I foliar fed the plants with the Amino N+. They look great but showing signs of overwatering.

Before flower, I will have BluSoak hoses installed. Was able to order exactly what was needed for around $25.

Picture of same plant one week later. I repeated the amino foliar and will continue.

Soil performance.

Unfortunately, Brandon Rust released another soil video on IG for another soil mixture recipe. Hmmm. I was under the impression that he would finish this soil mix with testing reports and added micro-nutrients. I guess not, so I will definitely be testing through Logan Labs then going to Bryant Mason for the cure. Personally, I don’t think the soil will perform until next run, tested and cured.

Bagged up two cups of soil for testing at Logan Labs. Should be able to get in mail by this Saturday. Once I have results and some direction, I will post back here.

Thank you GMO, I just want to grow better weed. And I can if I employ the right tools. I also thought about other options such as going back to neem crab kelp meals. Even had a glimpse of purchasing some RAW bloom. But I think this is gonna be a much cleaner option ultimately.

Comparison to the IG video
Assuming the like components are the same or similar, I would need to add the following to the current mix in order to obtain the target mix in the IG video. Each pot would require 1/3 of the new amendments.

Typically, I would add this to the current mix to see if the soil performs better. However, I am too close to sending out a sample for analysis and correction.

Be warned, if you decide to create the base mix, I strongly recommend adding the components mentioned here. I am in the process of using the base mix as soil, sending to the lab, then sending to Bryant Masson for the fix.

4 T MgSo4
1 C Calcium Phosphate
½ C High Phosphorous Seabird Guano
2.5 C Amino acids
½ C FeSO4
4 t Manganese Sulfate
5 t ZnSO4
3.75 t CuS04 @25%
½ t BSO4
2C Biochar

Well, I was able to mail out the sample on Saturday. It’s Monday and Logan labs has already called me. I gave them my credit card information… in so many words or less… I am going to allow them to do the recommendation also.

Oh well, looks like I screwed Bryant Masson out of $40.
