They wither up and become an excellent food source for the worms
I've literally thrown every leaf in there from sprout to harvest on 4 plants, they just disappear

Oh ok, as long as it's not a super thick layer you should be fine bro but you may want to look into it a bit moreGMO wrote:i dont have any worms in my pots yet i was more thinking as a kinda straw cover. ive got a few other plants i can use to cover the soil ones more thoroughly... if that makes senseintegrajosh wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 3:09 amThey wither up and become an excellent food source for the worms

With the living beds there's way more than just worms eating the leaves, all the other bugs do too. It decomposes quickly
But in your situation I'd be careful of high humidity and mold starting to grow in the leaves
That's why 3 of my last 7 seedlings dampened off. Mold was growing under the straw layer because I had my extraction fan off

They do but I'm trying to focus on cutting back on costs as much as possible. I might give it a go in the future and see what the hype's about thoughGMO wrote:That stuff sounds amazing tbh!integrajosh wrote:Literally ran out just before transplant, lol

Re: Cannabis leaves as a mulch
It's just lactobacillus infused grain buddy. Save the pennies and make your own lactobacillus and spray it in would be my suggestionintegrajosh wrote:They do but I'm trying to focus on cutting back on costs as much as possible.
